Site Security

Post by LeadPeer »

There is no commercial grade protection of data here.

Data transmitted to and from the site is encrypted when using the https:// part of the web address.

Secure access relies on strong passwords. Your password strength can be tested here: https://www.my1login.com/resources/pass ... ngth-test/

This is not a strong password: 1958Andr£w - it'll take 17 hours to crack on average. There isn't going to be some weird geyser tapping away at his computer. Nope - hackers leave their computers on to automate the process.

This tiny variation: 1_9+58@ndr&w will take 3 million years to crack. Passwords can be made memorable yet secure by adding some symbols to keywords.

Site security is everybody's business.
